Uniqueness.

Who are you?

‘You’ are the only ‘you’ in the whole world.

This may sound like a silly statement,
but let’s take a dive deeper, so we can be on the same page:
  • You may love — and look up to — your parents, but you are not them.
  • You may be grooming your child to become successful in the world, but s/he is not you.
  • You may admire someone in the workplace, and wish to do what s/he does, but if you ever had her position, you’d do it differently.

At a soul level, you came to this world to experience, inside of this lifetime. Depending upon your belief system surrounding past lives, you either chose your parents to facilitate the next phase of ‘your’ mission, or you were born into them. In either case, you are on your own, independent mission.

Your parents helped you understand what they could teach you, in order to prepare you to be in the world, on your own. That’s not to say you can’t keep a close relationship with them for as long as you get to share your lives, but your life is yours, and yours only.

In fact, it would be a waste of time — and life — to try and emulate someone else; you’ll feel insincere along the way, unfulfilled, and uncertain. And that makes sense, because it’s not you.

You are here to be ‘you’, and no one else.

You are here to make decisions of your own, to find your sweet spot in life, and to pursue any higher path or mission that presents itself to you. Whether your highest purpose in life is to raise independent children — or to perform some sort of service in the world — your job is to do the best you can with the guidance you receive, every step of the way.

And please keep in mind what you see today as your mission/job in life may change. In fact, it will change, and that’s ok. Actually, it’s encouraged.

Instead of trying to be like someone else, consider what it might feel like to be yourself; to discover yourself, at a soul level, and to make sense of who you are. Discover how it feels to trust your internal guidance, to ‘turn up the volume’ on your intuition, and to see where life takes you. Allow yourself to be in the driver seat, but riding at the same time. Instead of being led by someone else, see what it feels like to be led by yourself, and by whatever higher-than-though being/system exists in this world to guide you.

You are beautiful. You are unique. You are here for a reason. And that reason can change. Follow your heart + gut, and learn to align your brain/mind with both.

When you tap into your entire being, life gets super fun, exciting, and invigorating. You’ll feel fully alive, and you’ll receive sign-after-sign that you’re moving in the right direction.

You can do this. Actually, you’re the ‘only’ person who can do this. You’re you.

Sent to you with love, compassion, and gratitude,

Kareem
