If you don’t feel great, pretend you do; before long, you will.
When you pretend to feel great, your body releases serotonin and dopamine to help you feel amazing. And, in turn, you begin to feel better.
You see, the power of the conscious mind to influence the subconscious mind is miraculous. Often times, when we’re down in the dumps, it’s difficult to find a way to be positive. Instead of thinking of feeling great as ‘lying’ to yourself, I recommend you consider it practice.
- I love myself; both the good and the bad. In fact, none of it is either; it just is.
- I am so happy and grateful now that I feel great all the time.
- I’ve already healed, and it’s wonderful to be on the other side, free of pain and discomfort.
- My body is miraculous, and I can lose weight anytime I want by simply thinking about it.
- I have already reached my ideal bodyweight, and I can’t help but smile.
- I remember when I used to worry about my health and whether or not it would ever improve; now, I realize that was silly because I’ve reached my ideal health and it feels so easy to maintain.
- I taste food and know if it’s good for me before I take another bite.
- I smell flowers and instantly feel peace.
- I feel sun on my skin and all my worries drown away.
- I hear the sound of running water and my blood pressure instantly returns to normal.
- I see stars and know I’m protected and one with (insert: God, universe, etc.)
- I’m overjoyed with my relationships, the level of intimacy in my life, and the fact that anyone and anything I ever need is immediately available, so long as I ask.
- Your subconscious mind only knows present tense. Past and future are conscious thoughts, which means speaking in the present actually programs your subconscious mind with new beliefs, patterns, and programs.
- Your subconscious mind dictates about 95% of your life; your conscious mind tends to do the thinking and acts like a command center for your subconscious mind. So, what you think about — in present tense — persists.
- By integrating all five senses (sight, taste, smell, touch, and sound), you are allowing yourself to drift away and use your imagination. When you use your imagination, it’s difficult to concentrate on anything else, which means your subconscious mind begins to listen.
- Don’t just say the words; feel them. Or, pretend to feel them if you don’t initially.
- Time is a human construct, based upon the sun rising and setting, which it doesn’t actually do (the Earth spins and the sun stays put). The universe — or God — has no sense of time. By commanding your life to change instantly, you’ll notice it will.
- A natural delay to fully realize your ideal life is expected. This is because you will still have subconscious beliefs that conflict with these affirmations for awhile until you clear them out. It’s important you realize the delay — whether it’s days, weeks, or months — is rooted in your subconscious resistance to your affirmations. Again, this is why you’ll need to feel what you’re saying, and not simply say it.
I’m so grateful for you,
