I love you.
I love you for so many reasons; above all else:
  • Your passion and commitment to cause.
  • Your loyalty.
  • Your love for self.
  • The acts of self-kindness you perform through positive health choices.
  • The choice you make to optimize your life, thereby setting an example for others to live happy and healthy lives.

I love you most for your uniqueness. You see, each of us is unique, each of us is here for a unique purpose, and each of us has an opportunity to make what we want of the opportunity we’re given. Sure, we can choose to sit on the couch, watch hours of TV every day, and loathe our bodies with actions of self-hatred like binge eating, slouching, negative self-talk, etc. Or, we can make a decision to embrace our uniqueness, love ourselves, accept our shortcomings and honor we are learning — while making a commitment to move forward — no matter what.

Independent of what you choose, I want you to know you’re loved.

If you have the tools to live happier, you will; and if you haven’t had the tools, that’s not your fault. If you’re already living happily and haven’t had the tools to teach others, you’re now learning the ropes. And our team and I are always happy to help.

I’m in love with life. I’m in love with you. I’m in love with my family, and I’m in love with my friends. I choose to love air. I choose to love water. I choose to love fire, light, stars, and the moon. I choose to love.

And because of you, there’s more in this world to love. From this perspective, I live with an ear-to-ear smile on my face. And, when I forget and end up in a sour mood, love is ‘the’ guaranteed way to bring back my smile. It may take a few tries to switch thoughts and feelings, but love over-powers any feeling when you realize it’s abundance.

Today’s thought exercise:

If you had to choose one single feeling to focus upon — in terms of a feeling you wish to have every day of your life — what feeling might you choose?

***

My response: I choose bliss. Bliss suggests certain other feelings are present, like joy, love, gratitude, etc.

If you’re with me, let’s make bliss our goal and love the byproduct. What say you?

Sent to you with love, honor, and in service,

Kareem
